Cabot Crafts Job Opportunity

Cabot Crafts are seeking a diligent, customer-focused Store Clerk to work the daily activities of our Craft store.
Our ideal candidate is someone with excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, reliable, computer skills and the ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Work together as a team, so interpersonal skills are a very important.

Seasonal Temporary, Full-Time until the middle of October 2025

Shifts include:
8 hours per day
Day Shift & Include Weekends
Wages to be discussed
Expected start date: ASAP

Responsibilities
• Assist customers with finding products, answering questions and providing product information
• Manage and account by computer accurate details of inventory as items are sold
• Manage cash register transactions and ensure accurate processing of credit card and cash payments
• Stock and replenish merchandise as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including sales floor, back stock, and register area
• Handle customer complaints and issues in a professional and polite manner
• Help with store inventory management, pricing and coding stock on a consignment basis.
• Adhere to all store policies and procedures
• Assist with other store operations as needed
Qualifications
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Computer experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle cash and make change accurately
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Lifting moderate weights
