On our way home from pickin out near Owen Sound. An absolute gorgeous day, and we found some great items, with one we left behind, due to not enough room. Didn't want to damned the Cupboard, so we will head back out in a couple of weeks to pick it up.

I'm extremely pleased how this Early 1800's Upper Cabinet we barn picked near Fergus Ontario has turned out. From the off white interior, to the original ochre paint and the beautiful top and trim work around it. Someone at one time replaced, probably the broken wooden k***s with crappy looking white porcelain ones. I had 2 k***s probably around the the same year, but in a pale green with mother of pear inlays. This would be perfect in any 1800's home, or rustic farmhouse for dishes, bowls etc.

This absolutely beautiful Antique 1800's Pine Grocery Store Counter is now complete. It was a fun project, and thankfully I had enough Antique Pine to complete the interior with extra shelves and a better scaled size drawer.
A fantastic size for smaller areas and honestly in a rustic farmhouse or cottage would be fantastic.

Like I mentioned yesterday, we are now starting on another TRUE PRIMITIVE early 1800's Upper Cabinet. We barn picked this one a couple weeks back, and we looked in 2 buildings too see if the bottom was anywhere to be found. Sadly no luck, but this one will make an absolute gorgeous piece mounted on a wall. Original paint,square nails and the off white interior makes it stand out from the rest. Of course GUNNER had to be in the picture, as today's his birthday, and now is 2 years old.👊😎

The other day after we found and brought an Antique Farm Wagon which was headed to the garbage bin, she asked if something could be built for a store display, for different seasons. Of course my mind went into high gear, and from yesterday until just an hour ago, the final results are done. She's extremely happy, and for me, the best part we saved a little Paris Ontario history, as this ADAM'S WAGON was built there, as they started manufacturing them in 1863. Tomorrow another project will be starting along with carrying on with the Antique Grocery Counter.
