Warranty
TMS Lighting warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from shipment date. Lamps are warranted for a period of thirty (30) days from shipment date. TMS in its sole discretion will either repair or replace any defective item covered by warranty, provided the item has been installed correctly by a qualified
electrician and operated in normal conditions. Due to weather conditions, fading of finishes is normal and not warranted. TMS Lighting, in its sole discretion, will replace any warrantied product or components of a warranted product. Standard lead times apply to all replacements; however, TMS Lighting will make every effort to ship in a time-sensitive manner. TMS Lighting’s warranty liability is limited to the replacement of defective products. TMS Lighting is not liable for any labor costs associated with any warranty claims, or for any incidental or consequential damages. Improper installation, abuse, and/or modification of the products will void this warranty. It is the customer’s responsibility to determine the suitability of a given TMS Lighting product for the customer’s uses. It is the customer ‘s responsibility to ensure that the installation of any TMS Lighting product and any required assembly is performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the instructions furnished by TMS Lighting and in accordance with local codes and bylaws. Improper installation, abuse, misapplication and/or modification of any product will VOID WARRANTY. TMS Lighting is not responsible for any labor costs associated with any warranty. Note: TMS Lighting makes every effort to ensure that the information contained in this Web site is correct to the best of our knowledge and belief, having been compiled from reliable and official sources of information. However, there exists the possibility of error and TMS Lighting cannot assume responsibility. Returns and Restock
All returns are subject to a minimum 30% restocking charge. Items must be in original condition and complete, and in their original packaging. Custom items or custom color items are non returnable. The customer must obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) from TMS Lighting within ten (10) days of receipt of order. All returns must be accompanied by the RGA paperwork including a copy of the invoice or it will be refused. Returns must be shipped prepaid and arrive at TMS Lighting within fifteen (15) days of issue of the RGA. TMS Lighting is not liable for damages during return shipment. Damages/Shortages
It is the customer’s responsibility to advise TMS Lighting of any concealed damages or shortages within one (1) business day of receipt. Damage claims will require a written confirmation and/or photograph. If the customer has chosen to have their order shipped with a carrier of their selection, TMS Lighting cannot assume liability for any damages. At the time of receipt it is the customer’s responsibility to notify the carrier of any visible damage to the packaging and have this noted by the carrier on the receiving documents. TMS Lighting in its sole discretion will replace any damaged product or components of. Standard lead times will apply to all replacements; however TMS Lighting will make every effort to ship in a time sensitive manner. Replacements will be shipped out via ground/standard freight. Customized Items
Customized items require full payment with each order and are not returnable. Customized items include products finished with a custom color. Lead Time
All TMS Lighting products are made to order and therefore are subject to a lead time. Lead times will vary with the item, color and quantity. Certain products are available as a Quick Ship and will ship within six (6) business days of receipt of order. Expedited lead times may be available (additional charges may apply) consult your TMS representative. Below is a listing of typical lead times, which should only be used as a guide. Please contact your local TMS representative for an accurate lead time. RLM reflectors, RLM pendants, sign lights: 2-3 business weeks (galvanized, copper or stainless steel will take up 6 weeks) Ceiling, sconces, architectural pendants, landscape, recessed, wall luminaires, bollards, self-ballasted, vapor proofs: 3-8 business weeks Poles: 6-8 weeks. Shipment
All items are shipped ground/standard freight and transit times are dependent on proximity of destination to TMS Lighting. Typical transit times are 2-7 business days. TMS Lighting cannot guarantee transit times and is not liable for delays including delays due to weather conditions.
