Lasting Image Picture Framing

10/19/2026

For a limited time, we have a collection of spooky and fall-themed artworks and designs available at the boutique! 🎃 We love this time of year and found artists who love it just as much to celebrate with us!

Curt Shoultz has a new series of comic cover designs titled The Magic Market. These feature monsters and specters with great visual story-telling and action. Including some creatures navigating familiar Brandon scene such as Rideau Park and the cafeteria at Assiboine College.

In addition to The Magic Market, Curt dropped off more original comic book covers with horror, weird, and magical elements.

Come find your favourite! Lasting Image is open Monday - Friday from 9AM - 5PM and Saturdays from 9AM - 3PM.

This grey heron was photographed by Dustin The Dusty Unknown along the banks of the Miyajawa River in Takayama, Japan, during a trip earlier this year. It immediately caught the eye of a customer and we worked hard to find it the best frame for them.

This non-glare glass is nearly invisible and paired with a double-frame, which matches the colours of the feathers to bring out these subtle features within the image. Be on the lookout and let us know if you spot it in the wild!

"Glow" by Winnipeg-based artist Jordan Miller captures the transition of the warmth of autumn as the frost arrives. The brushstrokes of the ink in this piece are both smooth and chaotic-feeling at once, giving the impression that isn't quite settled on a decision yet.

Sometimes the changing of the seasons comes in waves, rolling in and away again to give way to the warmth for just a bit longer. But once the cold sets it, it can feel jarring and too sudden. A feeling that many of us are all too familiar with this time of year.

This beautiful abstract work is still looking for a good home! Drop by the shop and check it out in person!

See more of Jordan's work on display right now at Prairie Fusion Arts in Portage la Prairie, on until October 22nd!

We love the spooky season. So much so that we've invited some Manitoba artists to participate by showcasing some of their halloween and fall-theme works for a limited time! 🎃

Winnipeg-based artist Megan McLean created just 10 editions of these Over the Garden Wall prints on cotton fibre paper. Only two of each are right here at Lasting Image! These prints would look fantastic in a custom frame where the rough edges of the paper would still be visible (and that's a rock fact).

We also have smaller 4x6 art prints and plenty of other original designs and artwork in the boutique -- all from local Manitoba artists!
