After a full day in the yard getting everything ready for summer, there’s no better feeling than firing up the pizza oven and soaking in every last second of sunshine.

Tonight’s dinner? Our go-to, a whole roasted chicken in cast iron with whatever veggies we’ve got on hand (last time we even stuffed it with bacon 😅).

We’ve waited all winter for this… and it’s finally here.

Rob cooked a turkey in his Caldo Hybrid pizza oven. Wow! It looks like perfection

He said it was a 10lb turkey, done in 2 hours. He warmed up the oven with gas, then switched to alder wood for the actual cook.

Backyard nights just hit different 🔥

It is my favourite time of the year. Opening up the backyard, getting it ready for another summer.

Planting tomatoes, and watching our Garlic (planted in the fall) grow!

Looking forward to homemade sauce, wood fired soups and all the delicious meals that come from our garden.
