Apparently when Melissa takes a vacation from her 9–5, she just clocks into her other job 😂🧶🤦‍♀️

A little road trip to Ontario to visit Sara +LOTS of passenger-seat knitting time = a very productive “vacation” 😂

During Melissa’s “time off” she has produced:

🐳 10 whales
🦊 3 foxes
🪼 20 jellies
🦆 10 mallards
🐥 3 ducks
👻 3 ghosts
🎃 10 pumpkins
🐴 4 horses (almost done!)

That’s 63 stuffies 😳🧶😂

Some people vacation with a book… Melissa apparently vacations with several bags of yarn 🤣

Safe to say the Knit Happens inventory got a pretty good boost on this road trip! 🚗🧶💗

✨ Knit Happens is growing! 🧶🤎
We thought it was time to officially introduce a familiar face around here, Sara!
Sara has been part of Knit Happens behind the scenes for a while, and now she’s taking on an even bigger role as we start a fun new chapter.
As Sara makes the move to Parry Sound, Ontario, where she and her fiancé are building their new home, she’ll also be bringing a little piece of Knit Happens along with her! 🏡🧶
That means Knit Happens will now have roots in both Nova Scotia and Ontario, with Sara beginning to branch out into the Parry Sound/Muskoka area while Melissa continues creating here at home in Nova Scotia.
Same chunky knits, same handmade love, same Knit Happens, just a little farther from home. 🤎
We’re excited to see where this next chapter takes us and can’t wait to bring Knit Happens to some new faces, markets and communities in Ontario!
