Knit City Toronto! Me and mum went on Saturday. If you saw me zooming around cursing under my breath, I'm so sorry 😂 Even with the wheelchair, I get very overstimulated at big events like this 😂 It was a lot of fun, and hopefully we'll be at the next Toronto event!

Last night's first batt peel on tiktok live! I've started making my traditional top to bottom specialty colour batts in a striped version! I've been seeing people say they prefer to have the colours not so overlapped, and figured I'd give it a try 😊 I love the multi layer chaos, but it's not for everyone 😂

The recycled yarn project is moving forward very quickly 👀 I'm hoping I'll have this 100% recycled acrylic yarn ply batt spun and plied with the second one soon!!

A little drum carder ASMR. I've saved all my yarn scraps from knitting, organized them by fibre, colour, and yarn weight, and am slowly processing them back into yarn. I've been making these colour bumps that will be turned into batts- I'll be making the first two on tiktok live tonight! Once I know if these can be spun like a normal fibre, the next step starts- seeing if I can use smaller weight yarn plies (DK, worsted) almost like an Angelina sparkle fibre to sit between the tines and spin up like a small flash of colour in the yarn. I'll have more updates by next week!
