Thanks to for inviting me to decorate again, this time for their Wonderland event. did a great job of capturing the scene! Dug deep into the crates for these printed fractal lanterns from goopier days. Hippies can be so conservative, straight and gender-normative so it's nice to serve the q***r community with my art. Here we see the calm before the disco storm 🪩 It was a joy to work with to light up the night with stellations for their REVIVE party! It has been many years since doing a completely new series and this was the first ever q***r-centered ever decorated for 🏳️‍🌈 It also marked the revelation of new forms: Great Dysdyakis Dodecahedron and Great Stellapentakis Dodecahedron which were designed using the interactive web application developed for this purpose. Tasked with making gold lanterns, a new medium was discovered. has a large amount of PET film leftover from a face shield making operation earlier in the pandemic. Gold wrapping paper was adhered to the film in order to reflect the light on the inside. Next aspiration: work with one or more graphic artists who designed the cut holes or printed images using the app.

Thank you to everyone who has been sharing their beautiful memories of Harvest Festival 2024. It's been a long time since I've gone and I've had aspirations of sharing more lanterns there over the last couple years. It's also been a long time since I've posted here and I'm going to try and resurrect this account as my motivation to keep making increases.

I believe these were taken around 2010-2011. I made the biggest lantern I had ever for the opening of the new pyramid. I was really disappointed when the light bulb went out but I was able to get another bulb in by the narrowest margins while tippy-toeing on the rock. Eventually that bulb went out too. In retrospect, the assembly was precariously shoddy. I feel good about the progress I have made with the designs since then.

Much appreciation to all of those on the scene that have kept at their craft consistently over so many years. You serve a great inspiration to me! Looking forward to sharing some of the new stuff that I'm working on.
