This custom Forget Me Not pin was made for a lovely lady, she said she would like to give this pin to her granddaughter right on her wedding day later as a special keepsake gift. A gentle colour palette was her request as well 😊

I am truly honoured to be able to create something special - in this case to transform a love feeling of a grandmother to a form of flowers and yet to be remembered, whenever the granddaughter sees this pin 💐

The last picture is showing a little bit of behind the process as I’m terrible of recording myself when I am creating 🫣because I had to focus and I’m a clumsy 😅.

Every petal is cut, shaped & painted by hand ✂️🌸 🎨 One pin down, still have 2 more pins to make 💪🏻

A few days ago there was a wild bird that sat and looked distressed on our lawn, apparently there was a tree branch that got stuck in its right wing, deep enough that we needed to call an animal rescue for help. The rescue staffs needed to cut off the branch including some feathers to investigate, but seemed the branch might have damaged this poor bird wing so the bird needed to be taken away for further care.

It’s interesting how nature can inspire me and that’s the the story behind these paper feathers 🪶🦜

I came across some interesting facts about quail - they can fly, but would rather use their powerful legs to escape 🐧. And here's a fun fact: 3 to 4 quail eggs are equivalent to a single chicken egg 🥚 - just imagine how many quail eggs we'd need to bake a cake, lol! 😂

I'm thrilled to share my first attempt at crafting bird feathers from crepe paper 🤗! I also created quail eggs, inspired by their adorable dotty pattern. The two bluish bird eggs 🪺 were made from leftover brown wrapping paper, while the other three are air dry clay experiments to find the best method. The big challenge for this project was to hand paint every single elements in such a short time 🎨👩‍🎨

I've been holding onto this natural shredded wood from my trip to Indonesia two years ago, where some people still use it to wash dishes. I'm excited to finally use it for a bird nest 🪹. Thanks, Nadia , for this wonderful gift 🤗
