A great day at Platform Social! ✨

We had the chance to attend today’s event, connect with inspiring creatives, and experience an incredible space filled with great energy and even better people.

Always love getting out, connecting with the community, and seeing what’s happening in the Creator world.

There’s nothing quite like seeing a vision come to life.

We started fresh with our primary bedroom, and it was the paint that created the vibe. We carried this rich Sherwin-Williams colour across the walls, ceiling, and trim - creating the warm, enveloping feel I had envisioned from the beginning.

Love the colour? Comment “PAINT” and I’ll send you the details.

There’s something pretty special about seeing an idea finally become your home. 🤍

From the beginning, I wanted our home to feel warm, layered and collected, with materials that added character without competing for attention.

CRAFT Living hardwood became an important part of that vision. Their hardwood runs throughout our main floor and onto the pitched ceiling, creating one of my favourite details in the entire house!

Now that it’s all finished, I love how the two applications connect the spaces and bring so much warmth to our home.

So happy to finally share the finished result.

Very excited for today. It’s the day I’ve been waiting for many, many months. If you’ve been following our journey to a new home, you’ll know it took a bit of a turn, but I’m so happy where we landed.

Today we are photographing our new home. It’s basically like Christmas, but better!!!

When we were designing our home, I loved the idea of using wood beyond the floor and taking it right up onto the ceiling.

One of my favourite design decisions in our home was pitching the roof and then and continuing the warmth of wood of the ceiling.

We used CRAFT Living’s Westside hardwood on the ceiling, adding so much warmth and texture overhead, then we incorporated Yorkville DiModa throughout the main and lower level to carry that feeling through the rest of the home.

Two beautiful applications, one material story, and such a fun part of watching our home come together.

Bringing the final details to life in our clients’ entry, living, dining, and family room. We loved working with these clients and are so excited with how everything came together!

Install days are always a full-team effort, and this one was seamless from start to finish. 🤍

To say our new home is a blessing to our family is an understatement. It took us a couple detours to get here but the joy we feel to be exactly where we are is overwhelming. 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍

Pinch me, I’m dreaming!

Our new library is also almost complete. The hardwood is installed, the beams are in, the walls and ceiling have been painted a beautiful dark mink hue, the furniture has arrived, and now the art is going up!

So many gorgeous details to take in! Only thing left is our bookcases to be installed and styled.

Let me know what you think!
