It has been a very busy 4 months at our new home but oh there’s been SO MUCH PROGRESS! 🏠
With the help of our incredible contractor Jeff at Craft & Trade, our home has been taken right back to the studs w only three exterior walls remaining.
Full demo included removing all the interior, roof, and siding. A new truss package gave us a gorgeous vaulted ceiling, plus a simple top plate detail added a few extra inches without changing the bungalow profile. Next up was new asphalt and metal roofing.
From there, we rebuilt the core systems. Plumbing with new drain lines and a tankless system with hot water recirculation.
HVAC with a new high-efficiency furnace, AC, HRV, new ductwork, plus gas lines for BBQ, fire pit, and pool heater.
Electrical including a full 200 amp upgrade, heated floors, and EV pre-wire.
Insulation with spray foam, batt, vapour barrier, and exterior rigid foam, a major upgrade from the original 1960’s build.
We’re now finishing drywall, adding custom arches and clean window drywall returns. We have all new windows by Lake City and masonry repairs are complete.
