TURNING YARN INTO HOPE — ONE STITCH AT A TIME!
This November, I’m putting my hooks and needles to work for something bigger.
Cancer has touched my family and my circle of friends. Over the years, I’ve lost some incredibly important people in my life to this awful disease. This challenge is my way of honouring their memories while giving back to a cause that means so much to me.
I’m participating in the Canadian Cancer Society’s November Knitting Challenge, and I’ve set a fundraising goal of $2,500!
To get things started, I’ve already made a personal donation using a portion of my Knit Happens YYC sales from last month, So if you’ve supported my little business, you’ve already helped make a difference!
Throughout November, I’ll be knitting or crocheting at least one item every single day. At the end of the month, everything I create will be donated to bring a little warmth and comfort to others.
30 days. Countless stitches. One meaningful cause.
If you’d like to support my challenge, you can donate directly through my fundraising page:

Every donation, big or small, means so much. And if you can’t donate, sharing this post is another wonderful way to help!
Let’s turn yarn into hope, one stitch at a time. 💗
