Our first Jackfish Lake project meeting took place in December 2022. Three and a half years later, we’re finally on the homestretch toward installation and our clients enjoying their new home for the 2026 summer season.
To say it’s been a journey would be an understatement.
Every project teaches us something, and this one has reinforced a few lessons that continue to shape how we approach our work:
Advocate fiercely for your clients. When concerns arise, address them early, communicate clearly, and ensure the project stays aligned with the vision and expectation.
Details matter. From drawings and specifications to site visits and communication, thorough documentation is one of the most valuable tools in delivering a successful project.
Great projects are built on trust, collaboration, and accountability. The right team makes all the difference, and those relationships should never be taken for granted.
Keep the faith. Challenges are inevitable, but solutions can always be found. Progress isn’t always linear, yet persistence and expertise has a way of carrying projects forward.
Patience is a virtue. The ability to remain steady, adaptable, and solution-focused through the inevitable highs and lows of construction serves everyone involved, most importantly our clients.
Thank you, Jackfish. You’ve tested us, challenged us, and taught us. For that we’re grateful.
In a few short weeks, the vision we’ve held for this home will finally come to life, and what a joy it will be to see our clients settling in and making memories for years to come.
💛
