My page is about vintage Persian rugs, each one a true work of art.
But these days, it’s hard to look at them the same way.
I keep thinking about all the hands behind every piece, the people who sheared the wool, spun the yarn, dyed it, built the looms, and patiently knotted every detail. The ones who washed and restored them, and everyone who helped these rugs find their way to me.
And now, with everything happening, I can’t stop worrying about them.
Behind every one of my 450 rugs, there are real people, real lives, and I don’t know where they are, or how they’re doing.
Stop hurting civilians. End the War!
