Hello and thank you very much for taking the time to visit this page.
My name is Tanja. Originally I come from Austria. I am a wife to my wonderful husband Gunther and SAHM to three beautiful little kids and two furry babies, making us a family of 7. Many would probably describe us as the craziest family they’ve ever met. We are globetrotters. The past 15 years we’ve moved 10 times. Right now we call the beautiful city of Edmonton, AB, Canada our home. But don’t worry almost all of my products are available for shipping.
Dream catchers and their legends and beauty have been fascinating me for a very long time already. I can remember having one hanging over my bed when I was a kid. When we moved to Edmonton we were prepared to stay only for a very short period of time. That short period has already turned into almost two years by now. So I wanted to do something that made the kids feel more at home in our temporary living situation. Hence, I wanted to create something for them that is selfmade, special and most importantly something that comes from the heart. Also after some encouragement from a fellow mama friend I started digging into it and found my passion in creating handmade products. Also before that, I have already worked on many different creative projects in all kinds of fields in the past. However, I never imagined turning my hobby into a creative small business, but as so many times in life things just happen. This is how Cherry Blossom Arts - Custom Creations (TheCBlossShop) was born. First I was just selling my items in social media platforms and local groups until customers have asked me, if I had a website to show what I am doing. And this is where we are today. In March 2019 I went online with this page to share and spread the word among you all. For going online I needed to come up with a unique name that would represent what I stand for, like and do. Cherry Blossom because as some of you might know, I am a huge fan of Japan. After going there for a class field trip over 10 years ago, I just thought this has to be part of it. Arts because I’d say that’s what I do as well as Custom Creations.
