When winter gives us a rare warm spell, it’s the perfect chance to tackle outdoor projects that dramatically boost curb appeal, long before spring arrives. A well kept exterior signals to buyers that your home has been loved and maintained, and that impression starts the moment they pull up.
If you’re preparing to list or have a property currently on the MLS, here’s how to make the most of this unexpected weather:

1. Maximize Curb Appeal & Cleaning
• Clean windows on the outside to brighten the interior
• If temperatures allow, give the front door a fresh coat of paint in a bold, welcoming colour or freshen trim and pillars at the front
Power wash siding, walkways, and the driveway to wash away dirt and salt buildup
• Clear old leaves, branches, and dead plants from garden beds
• Trim bushes, hedges, and trees for a tidy, cared for look
