Today is the first day of voting in the MNBC bi-election for all registered Métis Nation British Columbia citizens. Make sure to cast your vote for president before August 22nd, the last election had a low voter turnout - let’s hope we see some improvement this year!

Sunflower season is upon us! I love being out and seeing them growing up over peoples fences. These tufting packages are a limited edition color palette, reminiscent of Sunflowers. There are currently only three remaining - so get one before they are gone! The investment is $140, which includes tracked shipping, within Canada (I can give you a deal if you buy more than one 😉). There will be some slight color variation between packages, as the hair doesn’t take exactly the same.

On a two week long road trip with my boys, with so many incredible stops along the way. PokéFest and Science World in Vancouver, Calgary Zoo, Batoche, Gabriel Dumont Institute, Carlton House, Tourond’s Coulee, Edmonton to visit family, a short walk to where Jasper House stood, and so much more. What an amazing adventure and memories to be made. And our new favorite song, that we all sung along to, many times: Memmere’s Rubaboo, by Andrea Menard- maarsii Kayla for sharing this one, my boys love it!

Me and my boys arrive back to the island from our Batoche road trip. It has been so much fun, the two weeks have felt like a whirlwind! I will share a few photos when I get settled back at home.
