I’ve been playing with the new Hot Foil system from Stampin’ Up! I don’t know why I was intimidated to use it at first because it’s easy and has beautiful results. Today I used the Botanical Glow die and the Reverse Hot Foil die. I don’t really like the gold and black one, it’s too much gold for me, but I thought I’d show you how it all works. I think, in the future, I will cut up the solid gold and use it in smaller pieces instead.

Card making doesn’t get much easier than this! I used the new Botanical Expressions die from Stampin’ Up and layered it over a strip of pretty paper. I didn’t add a sentiment, but you could always add a thin sentiment along the bottom.
