🌲 Summer Closure 🌲
We will be closed for summer vacation:
July 25th to August 13th.
Online orders will be packed as usual and local pick up will be available.

We will be back to summer hours August 14th-15th until September 4th-5th.
September 11, 12, 13th weekend will have special hours for Fibrefest weekend.
Fall and Winter hours will start after September 15th!

SIT AND STITCH TONIGHT!! 5-9pm
Join us tonight in the Lodge for some fun stitching!

TL;DR - We have 2 projects lined up for tonight and it's a great place for some summer socializing!

We have 2 free pattern to share tonight for quick, summer friendly stitching:

1) Knitters - this Purl Soho free pattern for the Tin Ceiling Washcloth is a fun and beautiful take on a functional project for home or gifts! Seen here in our favourite worsted cotton, Queensland Coastal Cotton. This Oeko-Tex Certified cotton is soft and colourful, making it great for next to skin but sturdy enough for dishcloths.

Did I mention I get a bit schmoopey for LYS day? Read on for the schmoop...
I believe this day is more than a celebration of a store but it represents the gratitude I feel as an owner of this space towards each and every person who has supported us over the last year. It represents the pride in each and every skein and accessory we choose to offer the community. It represents the huge accomplishment of still being here. It's the appreciation I have for all the incredible people who help to make this happen. It's the feeling I have closing up the shop after an incredible day of meaningful conversations, of oohs and aahs over the latest makes that folks share, of cheeks hurting from laughter, or of the lasting feeling from a much needed hug.

To Ann, Agi, Janice, Melanie, Cathy, Jess, Katherine, Steve (Sven), Atoosa - You have been absolute rockstars over this last year. It has been a hard year for so many reasons and I can not count the number of times your support has kept us going.

Great things will continue to happen here at Makers Lodge!
