โ ๏ธ Important Donation Guideline Update! All we can say is WOW!! We have surpassed our total pounds for 2025 and it is only April. โป
We have connected with so many members of our community this month, at events over March Break, shopping the ReUse Centre, and at the Carleton Place Craft Supply Sale. Thank you to all who were interested in more information about landfill diversion, attended a crafting event, brought by a donation, and to Shelly for continuing to host a great local event.
With an influx of donations the last few weeks (over 250 pounds!๐ณ) We have needed to update our materials currently on PAUSE list:
- Picture Frames & Mats
- Books, Newspaper & Magazines (Unless Requested)
- Holiday Decorations
- Gift Bags, Bows & Wrapping Paper
- CDS, Vinyls, Tapes and cases
- Clipboards, Binders, Folders & Page Protectors
- Notebooks, Loose Paper & Pads
๐ฏ Recycling/Reusing is important, but as we are a craft supply repurposer there are things we will not accept. Our organization is volunteer run, limited on physical space, and we do not have the capacity to ensure these items end up with the right organizations. Materials we continue to NOT take:
- Clothing, Linens, Furniture, Decorations & Housewares
- Stuffed Animals & Bedding
- Expired, Dried, Unusable Materials
- Electronics & Batteries
- Chemicals & Hazardous materials
- Curb-side recyclables (unless requested)
- Partly Completed Projects
- Unlabeled Substances
Moving into our third month with the accessible community stash, we are filling the calendar with creative events for all ages and accepting bookings for the drop-in Makers Space. Follow along and check back for more!
