Now Hiring: Furniture & Appliance Sales Associate
📍 Birt’s Furniture & Appliances – Charlottetown, PEI
Are you passionate about helping people create comfortable, beautiful homes? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? Birt’s Furniture & Appliances is looking for a motivated and energetic Sales Associate to join our team! This position can be either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate.
What You’ll Do:
• Greet customers and provide an exceptional in-store experience
• Assist customers in selecting furniture, mattresses, and appliances that suit their needs and budget
• Explain product features, warranties, and financing options
• Meet and exceed sales targets through strong product knowledge and customer service
• Maintain showroom appearance and ensure products are displayed attractively
• Follow up with customers to build lasting relationships
What We’re Looking For:
• Previous retail or sales experience (furniture or appliance experience is an asset, but not required)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Comfortable working toward sales goals and commissions
