A family farm in Hampshire, PEI, welcoming visitors since 2013. 15 minutes from Charlottetown, explore our goat dairy & fibre farm, meet our friendly animals & visit the Shoppe & Flory’s Café. We are a commercial goat dairy farm and goat milk soap operation situated in the heart of Hampshire, PEI. We pride ourselves on our warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the care of our animals. We love seeing all of the smiling faces as they leave our farm. There is always something to catch someone's eye, whether it be your little girl falling in love with goats and bunnies, to your little boy loving Gavin our donkey, the alpacas and pigs

It is a learning experience, and is suited for everyone of all ages. We offer school tours, play dates and birthday parties by appointment only. Our only goal is to educate those that come to learn about our farm, and give them a fun-filled afternoon that will create lifetime memories!

You may have noticed our “Donkey Will Bite” signs around Island Hill Farm. We promise, they’re not there to scare you away from our lovable Gavin!

Gavin has a big personality and, like some donkeys, he can be a little nippy! It’s usually more of a nip than a bite, and it can happen when you’re not paying attention to him.

Our signs are there as a precaution to help keep everyone safe, especially during the busy summer months when we have so many visitors and our staff can’t be everywhere at once.

We love Gavin, but he’s still an animal with his own quirks and boundaries. Please respect the signs, follow our staff’s instructions, and always be mindful around him.

We want you to enjoy meeting our animals while keeping both you and them safe! ❤️

PD Day Camps are BACK at Island Hill Farm!

Looking for something fun and farm-filled for the kids on their next day off? Our PD Day Camps are returning this November!

Our first camps are November 5 & 6!

Kids will enjoy a day of farm fun, animals, activities and plenty of time exploring Island Hill Farm with our team.

Booking is now available on our website under the “Book Now” option.

And parents, we need your help! Are we missing any upcoming PD days? Let us know in the comments so we can make sure we have the dates covered.

During the fall, enjoy farm admission for just $16 per person, and don’t forget our special Sunday family rate!

Come spend some time with our animals or join one of our fibre, baking or sketching classes. Don’t forget we book groups for your girls night or work event!

We’re open Thursday for private bookings, and Friday through Sunday from 10 AM to 4 PM!
