2026 WINTER CLASSES AT THE CRACKED POT STUDIO
Welcome to winter! Here are the offered classes for Winter 2026! All classes are for ages 13 and up and are held at “The Cracked Pot Studio” 444 Riverview Dr. Unit #3, Chatham, Ont. Classes fill up quickly and class #’s are limited, so please register as soon as possible, by phoning The Cracked Pot Studio at 519-436-7167. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

(Clay 1)"Beginner's Pottery" (Wheel throwing and hand-building) (6 weeks), Tuesdays from Jan.06,2026 to (2 week break after 4th class) resuming classes 5 and 6 on Feb.17 and Feb.24, 2026, 1:30 to 4:00 pm. OR 6:30 to 9:00 pm. Have you always wanted to try working with clay, or perhaps you took a class years ago and would like to start again? These classes will give you the basics in both hand-building and wheel-throwing, along with experiencing firing and glazing techniques. Be prepared to bring a notebook and pen, a terry cloth bath towel , and a bib apron, and all the rest will be provided for you! No experience needed!
Total Fee: $365.
(Clay 2): )"Beginner's Pottery" (Wheel throwing and hand-building) (6 weeks), Wednesdays from Jan.7, 2026 to(2 week break after 4th class) resuming classes 5 and 6 on Feb.18 and Feb.25, 2026, 1:30 to 4:00 pm. Beginner’s Stained Glass: (4 weeks) Thursdays from Jan.08,2026 to Thurs. Jan.29,2026, afternoons from 1:30 to 3:30 OR evenings from 6:30 to 8:30. Learn the basics while making your own beautiful suncatcher(s) and also discover stained glass fusing techniques. Total Fee: $250.
Beginner’s Water Colour Painting: Just the basics! Step by step instruction will be given to connect you to the wonder and enjoyment of water colour painting! (4 classes) Fridays, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Jan. 09, 2026 to Jan. 30,2026.
All supplies included! Total Fee: $210.

Hello Everyone! I hope you have all had an enjoyable summer; it seems to have flown by with great speed! As promised, it’s time to post the Fall classes for 2025 at “The Cracked Pot Studio”. All classes offered are for ages 13 and beyond! All classes are held at the Cracked Pot Studio, 444 Riverview Dr., Unit #3, Chatham, Ont. Please contact me to come in to register with cash payment, cheque, or e-transfer at least one week prior to class start date. Class #’s are limited, so please don’t wait until the last minute, and be disappointed! 519-436-7167.

POTTERY LEVEL 2: (Wheel throwing and hand-building) (6 weeks), THURSDAYS from Oct.02, to Nov. 06, 2025, 1:30 to 4:00 pm. OR 6:30 to 9:00 pm. This programme is for both independent study AND for students who wish more time to practice their learned skills from their Beginner’s lessons. Instruction and demonstrations in new forms will be given, along with challenging the students with one to two projects per class, if interested, but students may opt to just use this programme for their own studio time if they wish. Please bring a notebook, pen, a bib apron, and a terrycloth bath towel.
Total Fee: $365. (Please note! This course is not for beginners: you need to have taken at least one series of beginner’s classes to register for this)

Beginner’s Water Colour Painting: Just the basics! Step by step instruction will be given to connect you to the wonder and enjoyment of water colour painting! (6 classes) Fridays, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. Oct.03, to Nov.07.2025.

Just a reminder! ( another ‘sneak peak’!) The Cracked Pot Studio will be opening its’ doors Friday, Dec. 6 from 6 to 9 pm. and Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 am to 4 pm for their annual Christmas Art Show and Sale. From colourful hand made walking sticks by Peter Moffat to mouth-watering chocolate treats by Michelle Waggott presented on beautiful hand made pottery ( microwave, dishwasher, and ovenware safe), created by Linda Leigh, and so much more, you should be able to find something special for each person on your Christmas list.
