This is my Gradient Layers entry for May 2026 Soap Challenge Club. We had to make a soap with either 7 or 9 Layers. I chose 7 layers. The two micas used used were Heliotrope and Pretty Kitty. I used Carnation, an accelerating fragrance oil, to help set each individual layer. Thank you to our instructor Jennifer Hoffman of The Soap Artist, our sponsor for this month Custom Craft Tools, and to Amanda Aaron and Robyn French Smith for hosting this challenge.

Rhubarb Swirl, this is my March 2026 entry for the advanced section of the Soap Challenge Club. This months challenge was a Spin Swirl taught to us by Lucie Kantorová. We had to pour alternating colours into each of the four corners of a slab mold. In the advanced category we had to use at least four colours. The colours I chose were Always a Bridesmaid (Mad Micas), Amaranth (Nurture Handmade), Envy (Mad Micas), Laurel Green (Nurture Handmade) and Winter White (Nurture Handmade). The fragrance oil is Red Berry Rhubarb from Suds N Scents. Thank you to Lucie Kantorová for the wonderful videos and to Amanda Aaron and Robin French Smith for hosting and to Natural Bulk Supplies for sponsoring this months challenge.

This is my February entry for the Soap Challenge Club, named Beach Vibe. Our challenge this month for the advanced category was to use 4 or more colours, drop thickened soap batter from a spoon and incorporate one other soap technique. I chose to do a sculpted bottom layer with soap plops coloured with Here Comes the Bride, Aphrodite, Twilight from Mad Micas and Tropical Teal, Synergy and Honey Blush from Nurture Handmade. This soap is scented with Bahama Vacation. Thank you to our guest instructor Nectaria Bogdanis and our two co-hosts, Amanda Aaron and Robyn French Smith. Thank you also to our sponsor for this month, Baraka Shea Butter.

This is my entry for the February Soap Challenge Club. Our challenge this month was to use an impression mat to decorate our soap. I made my impression mat from a card embossing template and Easy Mold Silicone Putty. The pine needles are coloured with Snake Island from Mad Micas, the pine cones are Lustrous Brown, and the berries are Trial by Fire from Nurture Handmade. The soap is scented with Cedar and Blue Suede from Voyageur. Our guest teacher and sponsor this month is Amy Bautista of Elysian Acres Soap in Colorado. Thank you to Amy Warden for hosting this challenge. , , .
