Hello everyone! I’m so sorry I’ve been so MIA lately. There has been so much going on in my personal life right now. If you were not aware, I homeschool my three kiddos which has taken up a lot of time since summer is over. We also all caught pneumonia and were sick for the ENTIRE month of September. It was brutal. Now that we are all healthy and on track with our school work again we’ve been spending a lot of time outdoors before the snow is due and a LOT of time at the arena. Two of my kids are in figure skating and one is in hockey so we are at the arena nearly everyday. I’m hoping to put out more content for you soon so stick around and be patient with me. 🙈

I always dread canning season and it’s long hot hours until I actually begin canning - then I remember that I love it. I love harvesting what I planted in faith, I love the prep work, I love filling up the jars and I especially love watching the shelves in my basement slowly fill up to be emptied into bellies over the long cold winter- a taste of summer in each jar.

This sweet middle girl of mine ❤️ she wants to be a veterinarian one day so she can help her brother and sister on the farm that they all want to run together. 🥹 I just adore these three and their huge hearts of gold.

Some of the most capable humans on earth are farm kids. They grow up doing hard work every day and learn responsibility from a very young age. They learn safety around large equipment and they can drive before most kids have even sat in the front seat of a vehicle. They learn where their food comes from and help to cultivate the fields and gardens into healthy crops for animals and humans alike. They spend hours barefoot in the sun both working hard and playing hard. Their help is invaluable ❤️

I’ll be a vendor at this show! My dear friend will be running my booth for me on Saturday as I’ll be at a memorial for my grandma. So come say hello to her! I’ll be there to run my booth on Sunday and I’m looking forward to seeing you all!

Finally finished this cross stitch pattern! I rescued this vintage 1991 cottage cross stitch kit from the thrift store last summer. It waited 33 years to be completed. ❤️ trying to decide if I should list it on my shop or just keep it for myself…
