It was a dream come true. My artwork, My Space Mirror, was on display at the Space Centre!
It all started with a unique piece of artwork I designed in early 2020, which aimed to raise awareness about the vastness of our universe. It took two years to complete, and over the course of the project, I went through hundreds of prototypes until arriving at the final version.
The piece featured an intricate design of the moon's craters and mountains, and it was created using a special technique of engraved and reverse hand-painted design on the back of the mirror. The artwork gained popularity on social media, and art enthusiasts were captivated by the unique technique used to create the piece.
Then, an opportunity came knocking. I was attending an event of First Revealed images of James Webb Space Telescope at Vancouver Space Centre. It was an incredible experience to be a part of the event, and I happened to meet the program coordinator of the Space Centre. When I showed him pictures of My Space Mirror, he was immediately captivated by the intricate design.
After a few conversations, the Space Centre offered me the opportunity to display My Space Mirror as part of a special event they were planning to celebrate. Of course, I accepted the offer, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase my artwork in such an esteemed venue.
The exhibit was a huge success, and My Space Mirror was the center of attention, captivating visitors with its intricate details and beautiful design. I was overwhelmed by the positive response the artwork received and the amount of attention it drew.
Being able to display My Space Mirror at the Space Centre was a truly magical experience. It was an incredible journey from designing the artwork to displaying it at the Space Centre, and I feel proud to have created something that inspired people to think about the vastness of our universe.
