Locally Made 🍁20 years old — and ready for another 20.

This Red Alder floor was made by Woodland Flooring and installed in 2006, finished in our warm Sedona Red colour.

After two decades of living, the floor had developed some sun fading and chair wear. We repaired the damaged areas and applied a fresh top coat, bringing the richness and protection back without replacing the floor.

That’s one of the advantages of a real wood floor: it can be repaired, refreshed and maintained for decades.

If you have an older Woodland floor or countertop that needs some attention, we’re still here for you — whether it needs a small repair, maintenance, or a complete refresh.

Made on Vancouver Island. Built to last.

GROWN HERE. MADE HERE. 🇨🇦

Here’s something a little different coming out of the Woodland shop.

This is a lift of Red Alder components we manufactured for a local producer of Mason Bee houses. 🐝

BC-grown Red Alder, machined right here in our Comox facility, for another local business.

Woodland is best known for our flooring, countertops and stairs, but our equipment and experience allow us to do much more with locally grown wood.

And this is exactly what Buy Local can look like — one Vancouver Island business supplying another, using wood grown right here in BC.

Every time we can manufacture something locally instead of bringing it in from somewhere else, a little more of that money stays in our communities.
