A home office can be moody, grounded, and yes; a little sexy.
In Project Regal, we wrapped the room and millwork in Night Horizon by Benjamin Moore, letting one deep tone create a sense of calm and focus. When a space is colour-drenched, the details start to speak louder; like the subtle warmth of champagne bronze and brass against the darker backdrop.

It’s a simple design move, but one that completely shifts how a room feels: quieter, more intentional, and beautifully composed.

Every home we design teaches us something about the people who will eventually live there. Project Regal reminded us of the power of clarity; how the right palette, the right proportion, the right details can shift a space from simply “beautiful” to something you feel the moment you walk in.

And this isn’t just true for Regal. It happens in every project we step into. Behind the scenes, we’re navigating hundreds of decisions, refining ideas, holding the bigger picture, and protecting the story of the home so it stays cohesive from start to finish.

Most people don’t see that part; the quiet work of guiding the vision when things get overwhelming, when timelines shift, or when the choices feel endless. That’s where we come in. It’s where our process truly shines: noticing what others might overlook, grounding the design in intention, and creating a home that stands the test of time for the next generation.

In the end, the transformation isn’t only in the space. It’s in how it feels to know every detail has a place, a purpose, and a story behind it. That’s the heart of what we do at Tan Interiors.

Even our lower suites, yes, the basements are designed with the same care and intention as every other part of the home. In our custom builds, everything begins with how the people living there move, unwind, and create moments in their everyday life.

We design for people, not for show. Functionality is one of the key components in our work, and when it’s paired with thoughtful detailing, the space feels effortless, elevated, and lived-in in the best way.

And because, at our studio, we design with the next generation in mind, every corner of the home is considered, so it can stand beautifully and purposefully for years to come.

In every ensuite, we aim to create that spa-like calm, and tile plays a huge role. We love mixing classic and modern materials: soft matte finishes, subtle textures, and clean-lined porcelain.

It’s all about balance, contrast, and creating a space that feels effortless the moment you step in.
