Another reason to celebrate! 🏆✨ WIN #2!!
We are delighted to share that Sheridan Interiors is an award winner in the 2026 NKBA Ontario Chapter Design Awards!

While our award category and placement remain a surprise until the gala, we're honoured to have our work recognized among our industry peers.

Every project presents its own unique challenges and opportunities, and this particular project had many more than we've ever encountered, which makes this recognition even more special.🥰

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful clients, trusted trades, and industry partners who help bring our designs to life.

And thank you to my industry peers and judges who deemed this project worthy of recognition and attention.

We're looking forward to the big reveal! 🥂

How to plan a condo bathroom that will help your future self and still retain style and luxury?

Transforming a condo bathroom comes with its own set of challenges…

After plenty of planning — and a lot of patience while we waited for condo board approvals — THIS is the result.

CLICK THROUGH EACH PHOTO for more project information.

A serene and luxurious contemporary primary bathroom designed for today, while thoughtfully considering how my clients' needs may change over time.

Generous counter space and accessible storage, a spacious steam shower, discreetly integrated support, a hidden laundry closet, and large-format porcelain panels all work together to create a space that is as functional as it is beautiful.

Because planning for the future doesn't mean compromising the present.

Designing for today. Thinking about tomorrow.

And a lovely bonus? This project was recently featured in the NKBA | KBIS Kitchen & Bath Pro Hub Designer Spotlight for August 2026. The thoughtful feedback from fellow industry professionals — particularly their recognition of the balance between luxury, accessibility and aging-in-place considerations — meant more to me than I expected. 🥰

It's a 4-letter word. Seems we are just rediscovering it?
Quiet sophistication - people recognize it. People will be drawn to you for the right reasons - not because of 'noisy content' or a meme-'o-the-day'. Can we not ruin this too?

Ever look at a room and think… something just feels off?
Often, it isn’t the furniture itself. It’s the scale and proportion of the pieces within the space.
In this first FIX THIS SPACE series, I’m sharing a few simple ways to spot the problem – and showing you what happens when the proportions finally work together.

See this wonderful and colourful , in cool summery colours.

The dark catch-all office also did double duty as an overstock furniture storage space. We converted it into a bright, inviting dining room that now has the perfect vibe for entertaining, right off the newly renovated kitchen.

This complete main-floor reno totally reimagined the layout, changing the locations of the kitchen, dining room, family room, and living room. By flipping the layout, we created much better circulation and entertaining flow for their lifestyle.

Have a room that's just not working quite right? Reach out and let's talk about how to make that right. You'll gain more functional space without adding on to your house.

Part 2 of: Don't believe everything you read!!...except this post of course 😉

Last week I shared with you an article I read in an international home and garden publication telling us that Aquamarine was the 'it' colour of summer 2026. I mentioned that the images they led with better represented the TEAL colour family, and I showed you in that post what Aquamarine looks like, as we all know it.

This week I want to show you what TEAL colour looks like so you can understand the difference and make informed decisions about colour selection. And if I may say so, we were doing TEAL before 'they' claimed it as an 'it' colour 😊

TEAL is a rich, medium to dark blue-green moody colour. Think peacock feathers, or deep ocean blues.
AQUAMARINE would be the palest version of this with lighter green undertones.
