Celebrate this Valentine’s Day with me on the evening of February 13th. Together, we will learn to linocut, create some fun prints, and spend the evening with some crafty folks. Bring your friends, dates, or family; everyone is welcome

URGENT: North Island College to cancel nearly all visual & digital arts and the entire Fine Arts Diploma program. This will negatively impact our community in many direct and indirect ways. Please consider acting in support of NIC's arts community. Information below provided by students of NIC's Fine Arts Program.

North Island College has made plans to cancel numerous programs, removing prior community consultation protections. The board has begun the formal cancellation process.

Jan 21 — Deadline to apply to speak at Feb 5 Board of Governors meeting: [email protected]. You MUST notify by this date to request to speak.

Jan 23, 1:00 PM — Education Council open meeting (first consideration). Anyone may attend. Email EDCO chair: [email protected] to express concerns or request to speak. Location: North Island College Comox Valley, KOMOUX Hall board room.

Feb 5, 9:00 AM — Board of Governors meeting (final decisions expected). Anyone may attend. Location: North Island College Comox Valley, KOMOUX Hall board room.

Day one of the Screen printing workshop was a success! We learned so much and are ready for day two - printing some of our designs!
