DM Microcement & Art Tile | Professional Installation Services in Kelowna

Summer flew by in active work, and looking back, a huge thanks to the local community here in Kelowna.
Over the past few months, it’s been a great season collaborating with local general contractors and completing custom projects across the Okanagan.

I specialize in high-end Custom Tile installation and Seamless Microcement finishes.

The focus is always on doing things right the first time, strictly following BC Building Code and passing all required site inspections:

• Code-Compliant Waterproofing: Complete Schluter-KERDI wet room systems & mandatory flood testing (water-tested before tiling) to guarantee zero leaks.
• Precision & Clean Details: Large-format tiles, uncoupling membranes (DITRA), heated floors, and zero-lippage finishes.
• Professional Standards: Fully licensed, insured, and dedicated to keeping a clean, dust-controlled job site.

As we continue taking on new projects this fall, we are open to:
✔️ Individual residential & commercial tile/microcement projects.
✔️ Partnering with local GCs, builders, and interior designers as a specialized subcontractor.
✔️ Joining a reliable local team full-time for the right long-term fit.

Been offline for a bit. After moving to Kelowna, I went straight to work on a large-scale ski resort project out in Rossland.
Swipe left to see the actual process—from waterproofing and floor heating prep to the final tile and hardware installation. I prefer to let the work speak for itself.
Wrapping up this phase and open to new projects right here in the Okanagan.

Focuses on expertise, the value of design, and the "Before & After" transformation

From Vision to Masterpiece: Why Interior Design Matters 🛠️✨

Often, a client starts with a simple idea - like wanting "emerald walls" for their fireplace and entryway. However, my role as a professional is to offer depth and character that exceeds expectations.

For this project, I proposed moving beyond a flat color. We integrated:
✅ Airbrush Technique: Used to create those deep, atmospheric transitions and realistic marble shading.
✅ Kintsugi Style: Hand-applied gold leaf accents that emphasize the "beauty in the cracks".
✅ Custom Veining: Artistic marble patterns that turn a wall into a piece of art.

The client was thrilled because the result is far more sophisticated than a standard paint job. This project highlights the importance of professional visualisation - seeing the unique result before the first drop of paint is even applied.💫
