Leaping into Christmas Artisan Market

General Information:
Market will be held on the 2nd Floor, Creston Room of the Creston Community Complex, 312 19th Ave. N. Creston, B.C.,
November 14th and 15th from 9am-4:30pm both days.
Tear down is from 4:30-6:30 Sunday
Internet
A Starlink will be onsite to try and boost the internet. It is recommended that vendors have adequate data as we cannot guarantee wi-fi in this building.
Application and Fees
Applications do not ensure acceptance. Vendors will be accepted based on quality and diversity of product, as well as timeliness of applications.
Vendors who have been accepted into this Market will be notified by email, which will include payment instructions.
Double Spaces may be allocated by the committee but are not guaranteed.
The committee will do its best to meet requests, however spaces do fill up quickly, and it may not be possible. You will be notified if your request can be met in your acceptance email.
Fees:
Non-members are welcome to purchase a $15 Arts Council Membership at the time of fee collection to receive member pricing.

MARKET POLICIES:
SET UP:
Set up is from 7am-9am Saturday
Load-in is to be conducted through the upper entrance at the back of the hall. You are asked to unload as quickly as possible and move your vehicle to allow other vendors to unload. Loading in through the lobby is not permitted
8 foot Tables are provided. There will be no table skirts this year, vendors will be required to provide your own full table coverings.
Door Prize Draw
All Vendors are asked to submit an item to be used as a door prize for the event.
Parking:
Vendors are expected to not park in the parking lot. Vendors must park along Hillside Street. Vendors found to be parking in the parking lot will not be invited back.
No-Shows:
This is a two day event and commitment. A no-show on Saturday will result in not being allowed to set up later and non-eligibility for future events.
Items being sold:
Items made with laser printers, vinyl cutters, and sublimation printers may be sold as long as no licensable images are used (ie: Disney, Marvel, Sports Teams, etc). These tables must display a sign saying “Items on this table were made with the use of computerized machines.”
Tables must be manned for the entire weekend unless they sell out. Then the table must be left up and a “Sold Out” sign must be placed on the table.
Insurance and Liability
Vendors are expected to cover their displays Saturday at the end of the market hours. The facility has security and the Creston Room doors will be locked.
The Creston Valley Arts Council is not liable for any theft or damage of Vendors products or belongings. Vendors are encouraged to purchase private market insurance if they so choose.
Tear Down:
Tear-down begins at 4:30PM on Sunday.
Early Tear-down will result in exclusion from future events, no exceptions.
