The she shed journal - chapter 1. What started as an idea for a small space of my own is officially becoming a reality — and naturally, I couldn’t resist designing every detail.

Tucked beside the water, this little retreat will have a vaulted ceiling, soft warm neutrals, natural wood, layers of blush and texture, and a few unexpected details that give it personality. The goal is a space that feels feminine and inviting, but still refined and timeless.

At just 80 square feet, it’s also a reminder that a room doesn’t have to be large to feel special. Thoughtful proportions, furniture placement, lighting, colour and art can completely transform a small footprint.

The foundation is underway, the plans are drawn, and the vision is coming together. Swipe to see where we’re starting — and where we’re headed. ✨
