Home from the sale in Meadow Lake today. It was an early start, we were on the road by 5:30 a.m. We were concerned about the highway because we had freezing rain yesterday. Highway hotline said the road was partially snow covered, but it was clear sailing all the way. The sale was amazing, what a beautiful new facility they have. The field house where the sale was held is huge ! The vendor booths were all top notch, some of the fanciest and huge displays I have ever seen at a sale. From 10 a.m. till shortly before closing at 5 pm it was a steady stream of people. We were happy to see many of our creations off to new homes.@

4 days until our first sale, just pulled these out of the kiln this morning. Another load will be firing all day tomorrow… tic tock tic tock times a flying ! November 15th Shellbrook Christmas Craft Sale and November 22 we will travel to Meadow Lake for the Holly Berry Sale.

STUDIO 1203 - Woodcrafts & Pottery - Gilles & Colette Pelletier

From their lakeside studio at Morin Lake, SK, husband and wife team Gilles and Colette Pelletier create the handcrafted works of Studio 1203. Gilles has been carving for over 30 years, making basswood characters, Christmas ornaments, framed relief carvings, and most recently, creative birdhouses crafted from reclaimed wood and repurposed materials. Colette, a potter for more than 20 years, creates both functional and decorative pottery, working with a variety of techniques from hand-building to wheel throwing. Payments accepted via Cash, Debit or Credit Cards. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Shellbrook Christmas Craft Sale.
