The Humble Wench

I’ve been feeling incredibly grateful lately. ❤️

Every order that comes through my little shop still means so much to me.

When you choose The Humble W***h to create something for you whether it’s a personalized gift, a keepsake, something for your home, a memorial piece, a business order, or something completely outside the box you’re trusting me with something that matters to you. And I don’t take that lightly.

There’s something pretty special about taking an idea that starts with “Okay, this might sound weird, but could you make…” and figuring out how to bring it to life. 😂 Those are honestly some of my favourite projects.

This little business continues to grow because of every person who places an order, shares a post, recommends my name, stops by my table, comes back for another project, or simply tells someone, “Hey, I know someone who might be able to make that!”

So, truly thank you. ❤️

And as The Humble W***h continues to grow, I’m always open to what comes next.

✨ Custom & personalized orders
✨ New ideas and one-of-a-kind projects
✨ Corporate & bulk orders
✨ Collaborations
✨ Vendor and artisan markets
✨ And the wonderfully weird ideas you’re not quite sure anyone makes yet 😉

If you have an idea, send it my way. Even if it’s something I’ve never made before, I’m always happy to see if we can make it happen.

Creating things that become part of your homes, celebrations, businesses, gifts and memories is one of my absolute favourite parts of doing this.

Thank you for trusting this growing little Ottawa Valley business of mine. ❤️

Another corporate order out the door! ✨

A HUGE thank you to ThothX for trusting The Humble W***h with this 100-tumbler custom order! 🥤

(And yes… there are 100 — they just wouldn’t all cooperate for the photo 😂)

Each tumbler was individually engraved with the ThothX logo, with a whole rainbow of colours heading out to their team.

I absolutely love getting to bring company branding to life and seeing a large order come together from start to finish. Whether it’s employee gifts, client appreciation, events, promotional items, awards, or branded merchandise, I’m happy to work with businesses on both small and large custom orders.

Thank you again, ThothX, for supporting my small business and trusting me with your brand. ❤️

Need custom engraving for your business or organization? Send The Humble W***h a message, corporate and bulk orders are always welcome!

This week in the shop 🪵✨

A little peek at what’s been coming off the laser this week! 💕

I’ve been busy making these custom layered name signs, and I’m loving how different each one turns out. From soft pinks to bright pops of colour, stained wood to natural finishes, every sign is made specifically for the person it belongs to.

These are perfect for nurseries, kids’ rooms, bedroom doors, playrooms, or as a personalized gift for someone special.

Each sign can be customized with:
✨ First & middle names
✨ Your choice of colours
✨ Stained, painted or natural wood
✨ Different font/style combinations
✨ Sizing to suit your space

And because each one is designed, cut, painted and assembled right here in my little shop, no two have to be exactly alike. 🥰

Here are a few of this week’s creations!

Have a name or colour combination you’d love to see made? Send The Humble W***h a message and we can design something together.

✨ SOMETHING NEW FROM THE HUMBLE W***H! ✨

I’ve been working on some custom layered wooden name signs, and I am absolutely loving how these are turning out! 🥰

And the best part?

You get to make it yours. ❤️

The sign pictured is approximately 21.75” × 11.75”, but your sign doesn’t have to look exactly like this one.

🎨 YOU PICK THE DETAILS!

Want a dark stained background with natural wood lettering?

🤎 Absolutely.

Want a painted background with a contrasting name?

🎨 We can do that.

Want the raw wood backer so you can paint it yourself to match your room?

🪵 Yep!

You can customize:

✨ Overall size
✨ Name/wording
✨ Font
✨ Backer finish
✨ Lettering material
✨ Lettering colour
✨ Stain/paint colours
✨ Additional design elements

The lettering can be made from 1/4” RevolutionPly plywood or MDF, depending on the look and finish you’re going for.

The example shown is 21.75” W × 11.75” H and starts at $85.00 CAD.

Custom sizes and more detailed designs may be priced differently.

🪵 A LITTLE ABOUT THE PROCESS

Every sign is individually designed, laser cut, assembled and finished by me.

And because we’re working with wood, you’ll see natural variations in the grain, colour and texture. Stain can also absorb differently from one piece to another.

That’s part of the beauty of handmade woodwork. No two pieces will ever be exactly the same. ❤️

🎁 THESE WOULD MAKE BEAUTIFUL:

👶 Nursery & baby room décor
🎂 Birthday gifts
💍 Wedding & anniversary gifts
🏡 Housewarming gifts
🛏️ Bedroom décor
🌿 Cottage décor
🎁 Personalized gifts for someone special
❤️ Or simply something beautiful for your own home

📩 WANT ONE?

Send me a message with:

1. The name/wording
2. Approximate size
3. Background colour/stain
4. Lettering colour
5. Any font/style ideas you have
