La vie nous présente des opportunités différentes de celles dont nous sommes habitués.
Ce fût une première, et belle expérience pour moi. Partager la passion de ma profession avec des jeunes, qui feront parti de notre relève.

Avec la collaboration de l'organisme de Les passerrelles Globale, j'ai eu l'immense plaisir d'animer d'un atelier pour initier des jeunes du Carrefour Jeunesse emploi Vaudreuil-Soulanges; à la profession d'un designer d'intérieur.

L'activité première fût d'agrandir l'espace afin de réaménager la chambre principale, sa salle de bain attenante ainsi qu'un grand walk-in; selon les besoins demandés par des clients (fictifs)

Deuxième activité, créer une maquette de la proposition d'aménagement retenue.

Le défi premier fût de les familiariser avec la prise de dimensions avec une règle architecture; puis les mesures impériales.
Puis de les acheminer à la visualisation de l'espace en 3D, en dessinant en 2D.

Step by step of this new construction project.

We love to be part of each phase in the process of a project.

The first step was to study the needs of our clients and move from the initial layout to a new proposal, custom for them.

Little update on our project

So. .. After the 2x4. ..

it's time to install the exits of the electrical outlets, of the light (recess, wall and suspensions). .. and the rough for the plumbing.

At this stage, we still have the time to make some changes (either to fix some last minute problems or to cut on the budget)

It was indeed an interesting worksite. .. a lot have been done this week 😮‍💨

DESIGNTEX gave us a little history class on the BAUHAUS movement. From 1919 to 1933, it waa an interesting combination of crafts and the fine arts in the architecture and design industry.

We had an amazing opportunity to be part of the male fashion show hosted by and orchestrated by .

It was such a pleasure to see all these beautiful mens on the runway.
Different styles and different shade of chocolate.

They all look so good in these suits 😍. .. can't wait for the time that men will be so stylish again!!!
