Just in time for Christmas.

While sorting through a late aunties "stash" of sewing fabrics recently, her nieces came across this beautiful Christmas fabric as well as some napkins that she had embroidered, but never finished.

Nancy (one of the nieces) reached out to me to see if I would hem the napkins and make table runners and place mats so each of the nieces would have something to remember their aunty with at Christmas.

Only one more sleep until the Rural Roots Public Market! So excited!!!

Today I'm busy prepping all the things I have available to sell. I'll have the usual table runners, Christmas stockings, book pillows and beanies but two new additions this year will be embroidered "goodie bags" for your beloved pooch(es) and some hand knitted headbands made from a blend of Merino/Possum wool from my home country of New Zealand.

Excited to be part (once again!) of Rural Roots Public Market which is happening next Saturday (December 2nd). Venue is the Dutton Community Centre. Be sure to mark your calendars!!

In June of this year, a work colleague “dumped” a tote of t-shirts, jackets, 4H badges, camp badges etc. etc. in my office and asked “Can you make me a memory quilt using whatever is in this tote”? Being up for a challenge, I said yes and today I had the pleasure of presenting Andy with the finished creation.

Thank you Andy for tasking me with this job - I loved every moment of putting this creation together.

I’d also like to give a big shout out to Linda McLaren for once again doing such an amazing custom quilting job.

Watch out Dutton - the Shining Twins will be out and about on Halloween!!!

I had a lot of fun making these dresses for my neighbours Michelle and Sierra. Love the finishing touches they have added (especially the blood splatter)🤣🤣

Another order is ready to go!

Memory Bears made out of a special grandma's clothes for her grand babies. Something for them to remember her by and cherish for many years to come.

The heart (made for me by Team Sabo in Dutton) has a beautiful verse "This is a shirt I used to wear. Whenever you hold it remember I am there. Love Grandma".

I feel honoured to have been asked to create these cute bears❤️❤️❤️

Hubby was a bit "bored" yesterday, and since he is such a "whizz" using the Cricut machine, I asked him to help me with the graphics for some Halloween tote bags I was making. The results can be seen in these photos! Not a bad job huh?

These 8 bags will be available at tomorrow's Dutton Artisan and Farmer’s Market for $20 each. I am also taking orders.

I've been busy "creating" in preparation for the Dutton Artisan and Farmer’s Market this Saturday (10am-2pm). Bowl cozies for soup season, beanies for the pending cold weather and Advent Calendars (yep scary - but we're getting close to December 1st!) for Christmas. Come visit and see what other amazing vendors will be there.
