Fall colours aren’t just outside... Our shrimp plants are matching the season with warm peach, orange, and golden tones. A little Thanksgiving weekend colour from inside the greenhouse.

Note: We are closed today for Thanksgiving, but we’ll be back to regular hours tomorrow. Enjoy the holiday!

Almost time for some tricky transplanting, which means steady hands, a little patience, and definitely no sudden movements around those spikes.

Some plants in the greenhouse need a little more attention and focus than others!

The poinsettias are starting to hint at the season ahead 🌿✨

They still have some growing to do and some time before they'll look fully festive, but we’re starting to see the first little shifts of colour in the greenhouse.

Stay tuned, the colour is only getting better from here!

New address, same greenhouse you know and love.

The City has recently updated our address to 1460 Aster Way NW, but don’t worry, we haven’t moved. We’re still in the same great location.

This change may take a little time to show up correctly on Google Maps and other navigation apps, so keep that in mind when planning your visit.

Same plants, same people, same greenhouse. Just a new address!

A little citrus surprise hiding in the greenhouse 🍊

It's almost time for more fresh oranges in the greenhouse. As the days get shorter and cooler, it is always fun to see the contrast between what grows in the greenhouse and what is going on outside in Edmonton.

Remember, we are open year-round, and you are always welcome to stop by anytime you need a tropical escape.

Friday flowers with a little extra flair! The orchid cactus is getting close to blooming, and these bright red buds are already worth stopping for. A fun little greenhouse moment to end the week.

Behind the scenes, these rows of poinsettias will soon become part of winter displays, festive gifting, and local poinsettia fundraisers. It may feel early, but this is when the magic starts growing.

Planning a fundraiser this season? Email us at [email protected], and we’ll add you to our list for poinsettia packages.

If the recent cold nights killed your tulsi plants, you are in luck! We still have some happy, healthy ones available in the greenhouse. They’re fresh, fragrant, and ready for a new home.
