Someone has to notice. Happily, it’s always me.

A day in the life: designing Rose des Vents, (Compass Rose), our kitchen for Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas. A meeting of the minds with il granito, Alair Homes Dallas and Arden Millworks , where every edge, vein and joint of our marble from Artistic Tile is considered, refined and refined again until it feels inevitable.

Being part of this Kips Bay Decorator Show House is an honour, and it matters even more knowing every ticket supports the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, Crystal Charity Ball, and Dwell with Dignity, three organizations dedicated to strengthening and enriching the Dallas community.

Coming this November.

Edmonton is where Stephenson House began, so this one means a great deal. Thank you to Modern Luxuria for including me among the 2026 Awards of Excellence recipients.

Recognition like this is never earned alone. It belongs equally to the clients who trust us with their homes and the team who brings each one to life.

Congratulations to my fellow honourees. I look forward to celebrating together on October 20 at Lexus of Edmonton.

Brookside Hollow, in the pages of AD Poland.

For a young family who love to cook together, we reimagined the kitchen and former dining room as one considered space. The cooktop moved to the end of the run as a quiet focal point. A terrace door gave way to an unbroken stretch of counter. A window set at counter height now frames the river valley below.

Three tones of millwork, soft white, walnut and oak, sit against a blue-veined quartzite. Antiqued mirror behind the bar carries the light across the room. An awkward breakfast ledge, once spilling open into the living room, is gone. In its place, a corner banquette that now anchors every morning.

Thank you to AD Polska and Barbara Ruppel for sharing the story.

The team was in the city last week sourcing for our kitchen at the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas: materials, pieces and the small, decisive details that make a room feel inevitable.

We also joined the preview of opening night at Kips Bay New York, there to support the designers, the organizers and, above all, the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.

More from Dallas soon.

Brining a little Canadian perspective to Dallas.

We’re proud to partner with Rafa on our space for the Kips Bay Decorator Show House Dallas. From our first conversation, they understood what this space could become, and they trusted the vision before a single slab was cut.

More to come this November.

Consider this a preview. The rest of the collection- hand selected in France, headed straight for Shoppe - Edmonton Home Decor & Furniture Store - is coming soon. Stay close.

There’s a moment mid-search when a piece stops you in your tracks. We found this one in a quiet corner of the fleas in Paris — a Gothic Revival mirror, hand-carved with beautiful reliefs, the kind of aged patina you simply can’t recreate.

Sourcing for our clients means slowing down enough to recognize it when it appears, and knowing exactly how it will live in a home for decades to come. Antiques aren’t just objects — they’re the layer that gives a space history, even when the walls are brand new.

If you’re building a home meant to be lived in for a lifetime, this is the kind of care we bring to every project.

Every space starts the same way — a feeling that needed square footage. But what makes it come alive are the memories made there, and the people we made it for.
