Over 60,000 stitches, about 200 hours, tears, swearing, naughty corner and so much frustration… I present my most challenging project to date.
The pattern was a custom designed request. Fingers crossed the recipient will be happy. They are not on FB so they won’t see this.

Another blanket in the beast category
41,000 stitches, 12 total days… 6-8 hours a day. This is the former flag of South Africa. I was asked to do this and I know little of its history just that the person requesting it asked for this specifically. The only thing I know is that in April of 1994 the flag was changed from this to what is flown today.
I think it’s pretty cool.
