Hi everyone,

Just a quick update on our hours for the Easter weekend:

Good Friday: Closed
Saturday: 10 AM – 6 PM
Easter Sunday: 11 AM – 5 PM
Monday: 10 AM – 6 PM

We’ll be taking a break on Good Friday, but we’ll be back and happy to see you the rest of the weekend!

Say hello to Illyana (aka ❀✿Silly-ana✿❀), the creative force behind Be Silly By Silly. From beadwork to mixed-media magic, her art celebrates joy, self-expression, and the beauty of being unapologetically yourself — bead by bead, piece by piece.

“Hi friends!
My name is Illyana, or ❀✿Silly-ana✿❀. I am a twenty-something-year-old Plains Cree artist from
Treaty 6 Territory, (amiskwaciywaskahikan ekwa kipohtakaw). I am an entirely self-taught beader with
around seven years of experience, and no matter how big I dreamed then, I never imagined that I
would be on the creative path I am today… teaching workshops especially✿.
I launched Be Silly By Silly in 2022 with a focus on producing high-quality, lightweight, and
eye-catching pieces of beaded jewelry and accessories, but have recently been incorporating other
creative hobbies of mine! Sometimes you may see metal stamping, crochet, printed art/stickers, and
even wire wrapping ✨
Each piece is handmade, put together bead by bead, piece by piece, with the future wearer in mind.
This ensures every item is of the best quality and vibes.♡♡
Soooo... Why Be Silly?
To me, being silly means staying soft in a hard world. It’s about reclaiming joy, celebrating culture, and
creating space to be exactly who we are — loud, quiet, messy, healing, learning.
Be Silly By Silly is more than a fun name — it’s an ongoing journey of reconnection, creativity, and
