Welcome back to Episode 2 of our Frame Rescue Series. 🖼️✨

Some objects carry deep meaning, connecting people to their histories, traditions, and communities.

For this project, we carefully restored and custom-framed two talking sticks, objects that hold cultural significance in some First Nation communities throughout North America. We approached this project with care and respect, with the goal of preserving these pieces while honouring their significance.

At Vestate, we believe thoughtful framing goes beyond craftsmanship. It’s about understanding the importance of each piece and treating its story with the respect it deserves. ❤️

A closer look at the process behind bringing art to life. 🎨✨

In this video, one of our team members walks us through the process of creating a canvas reproduction of a collage piece by artist Tammy Henkel, a valued and longtime Vestate client.

From the printing process to the final details, every step is handled with care to honour the original artwork and bring Tammy’s vision to life.

We’re grateful for the trust she continues to place in our team. ❤️

Some of our favourite frames, but make it fall. 🍂🤎

Warm woods, earthy tones, rich reds, and autumn-inspired oranges—the perfect palette for bringing a little of the season into your space.

Because sometimes, the frame is just as much a part of the piece as what’s inside. ✨

Which one would you choose?

Some pieces carry a lot of history. They just need a frame that brings them into the present. ✨

For this vintage tapestry, we gave the original piece a fresh, more modern presentation while preserving the character and story that made it special.

A little before & after to show how the right framing can completely transform a piece, without taking away what makes it meaningful. 🤍

30 years ago, we opened with a mat cutter and a promise. Since then, the tools have changed, the projects have gotten more unique, but the question hasn't moved an inch: what does this piece deserve?

We've framed jerseys, vinyl, crochet art, concert posters, and family heirlooms with the same hands and the same care. Creativity was never the twist here. It's been the constant since day one.

Still hand-cutting every corner. Still obsessed with getting it right. Bring us your piece and let's figure out its story together.
