Today we are feeling so thankful ❤️
Thank you so much to everybody who has reached out to check on us, we appreciate you all so much!
My family and I were not home during the storm and our home & store have minimal to no damage, we feel so blessed to be able to share that. We are forever grateful for the people who knew we weren’t at home & checked on our home & store for us. As well as for the people who texted asking us if we needed somewhere to stay! We have the best people in our lives.
We are beyond thankful for the hardworking members of our community, Tutthill Construction, Canart Backhoe, Wallace- Woodworth Fire Department, The Rm of Wallace Woodworth, Manitoba Hydro & everybody else who has worked tirelessly at restoring our community.
Our community, neighbours, friends & family have all been impacted by the storm in different ways but in true Elkhorn fashion, everybody has come together to help.
We had no power when we arrived home last night. Riley headed to work this morning, and the kids and I stuck close to home. Power was restored tonight around 5:30pm. We had so many people offer for the kids and I to stay with them until the power was back on, and I am truly thankful for that!
We are safe & we are thankful. We are so proud to live in the best community!
The Boutique will be open regular hours this week!
