🏡 Winnipeg Home Prices Are UP 📈 But Sales Are DOWN 📉 So What's Really Happening?

The September 2026 real estate numbers are in, and there's some interesting news for both buyers and sellers!

Here's the breakdown without all the real estate jargon. 👇

🏠 Home prices are still climbing!
• Detached homes averaged $467,687 so far this year, up 3%.
• Condos averaged $288,751, up 2%.

🔑 Buyers have MORE choices!
There were 4,234 homes listed for sale at the end of September. That's 14% more than last year!

📉 But fewer homes are selling.
Sales dropped 10% compared to September 2025.

🤔 So what does this mean for YOU?

✅ BUYERS: You may have more time to explore your options and potentially more negotiating power. Not every home is getting multiple offers!

✅ SELLERS: Home values haven't suddenly dropped, but buyers have more options. Pricing your home correctly from the start is becoming more important.

🔮 WHAT'S NEXT?

We could be seeing a shift toward a more balanced market. If inventory continues to grow and sales stay slower, buyers may gain even more negotiating power.

But here's the thing: More homes for sale doesn't automatically mean home prices are going to crash!
