This bouquet had all of the charm, color and textures of late summer!🌾
I love taking apart bouquets and finding treasures that I dont often see! In this bouquet, some treasures were nigella, golden rod, strawflower, and HOPS! The colors muted as the flowers dried, in such a natural way that honored the character of the bouquet.
This frame went home early last year but I still look at the pictures of her.. and am finally sharing with you all!

Rich fall hues & deep tones, captured forever!

These finished frames went home early spring from an October wedding, and capture both the character of the fresh florals but also the season, in the best way.

Frame details: 5x7 for the boutonniere and a 12x12 black wood frame for the bouquet. Both with UV filtering glass. *No color retouching done here - these are all natural 🌿

All the ruffles & frills to brighten a cloudy September day ⛅. This beautiful summer bouquet is currently drying in the studio and will be ready to work with in the coming months! Congrats to N & K 🤍

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their wedding flowers this season! Bouquets are happily drying in the studio and have filled my shelves with beautiful flowers. Bookings are closed for the season :)

Last year, fall was my busiest time for intake of bouquets, and each year my capacity has grown. But this year I knew by spring that it was necessary to take on less.. So I did..at my discretion, guilt free (mostly). Posting has been slow but life has been busy..

A beautiful spring wedding bouquet, captured in time!

This shadow box was the perfect way to frame these white tulips! This client already had the vision and it was my job to bring it to life (second life!) 🤍

Flowers like tulips, dahlias and peonies are well suited for a shadow box, capturing the dimensionality just right. Exploring this preservation option when your bouquet is primarily these flowers is worth it for results like this ✨

How it all began - gathering samples from the garden🤍

People ask me all the time how this all started and how I got into flower pressing and my answer is the same: because I loved my garden, and I didn't want to say goodbye to the flowers I worked hard to grow and enjoy. I started experimenting and finding methods that would extend the life of these flowers, despite the changing seasons. I think any gardener would resonate with this sentiment that is rooted in a love and enjoyment of plants and flowers, especially their own .

Five & Seven came from this sentiment, and I get to help people enjoy the flowers that hold so much significance and memory through preservation. 🌿

Vows & florals!

Although each wedding frame is completely unique, it's still fun to mix up the design with something a little different! From inspo pic to real life, this frame includes his and hers vows framed in bouquet florals. From there, the design is tied together with a contrasting black wood frame, and the final product was a beautiful tribute to this couples' special day 🤍
