This indexing system is working well. Based on the idea that many midi lathes and other small lathes do not have a good reliable indexing system. This system removes the sloppy play and allows for accurate indexing and will reach a range of indexing from 56 - 88 - 96 - 120 and 180. This system can also accommodate larger lathes where the indexing does not have the same indexes. The spindle size can be adjusted to suit.
