Ian Anthony McKay and I just want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for all of your well wishes and support. 🙏
We had the most perfect wedding day filled with so much love. ❤️
The generosity of our friends and family is truly overwhelming, we appreciate you all so incredibly much and are going to be eternally grateful for your contribution to our lives, in the multitude of ways you've done so! It goes without saying that we are so grateful to our families and friends for all their help leading up to this point.
Whether you have or haven't planned a wedding, big or small, I'm sure you are aware of what an astronomical task this can be. We were always very intimidated by it so we rallied so much local help and we never ever in a million years would have been able to do this on our own.
Firstly, a massive thank you to Donna (and Nichole Lowey) at Lowey's Greenhouse and Market Garden for the absolutely beautiful flowers and incredible service. I cannot recommend them enough to anyone needing this service. Exceeded my expectations in every way! The fact that you helped to set up the space the day of is still blowing my mind.
A big thank you to Elleair Candle Co. for the quick custom order of soy tealights!! They were perfect for our table tealight holders. ❤️
Batter & Cream Baking Co. made all of our cupcakes - I wish I had taken more pics of the spread but not only were they delicious, they looked incredible too!
Oh Boy Sweets made the most adorable custom sugar cookies that no one could believe were not only edible (they looked too perfect) but were also extremely yummy 🤤 Cals Cheesecake Creations not only provided us with a gluten free option for our dessert table but these cheesecakes were so delicious they disappeared in a near split second. (😂 luckily I put them out so I got to try one)
Myself and my ladies have Danielle Marie Ivall and Myla Angus to thank for getting us all ready the day of the wedding - such talented ladies who knocked it out of the park for us.
I also cannot thank Maureen Thomson enough for my dress alterations and the extra sparkle that made it exactly what I wanted. Ian and the boys were well taken care of by Christopher Cousineau at Fort Frances McTaggarts with tie and pant rentals!
A huge thank you to Photography by Jodi for being our photographer. Jodi, you're a dream to have around on such a special day. Everyone felt so comfortable and had such an amazing time while we did the shoot. Thank you so much for the sneak peak photos, I'm so excited to see the rest!!
Lastly, but most certainly not the least as we don't even know how to express our gratitude here but if it wasn't for the Flint House we probably would not have ever even attempted this. Christine Cridland and Stacey Cridland, you ladies are magicians and I can't even begin to tell you how stress-less you made this entire process. These two created a space and atmosphere I could not even have imagined had I tried. Every tiny little detail was on point and our food and service the entire evening was absolutely incredible. Big thanks to all of the staff that worked that night for handling our crowd with smiles and amazing service. We will never forget this night and it would never have been possible without everyone we mentioned above. 🙏
From the bottom of our hearts, thanks a MILLION!! 💕 It truly takes a village and boy the one we have here in Fort is one of the best!!
