Well, friends… it seems I got a little wax happy. 🤦‍♀️🍓

While making our latest batch of Strawberry Shortcake candles, I apparently forgot how to do simple math. Instead of making our usual batch, I accidentally made what feels like enough to supply an entire village! So this round of Strawberry Shortcake is closer to 9 to 10 ounces of delicious smelling goodness.

If you’ve been waiting to grab one, now’s your chance because they’ll be back in stock very soon!

Also making a return is Noir Berry Crème. It started out as one of our slower sellers, but then it completely took off and sold like wildfire. We can’t wait to bring it back for you!

A little update from the Luna Scout Creations duo…

Half of our team will be taking some well deserved time to reset, recharge, and spend time with family over the next little while. Don’t worry though, the other half will be hard at work behind the scenes making sure your favourite candles, wax melts, and goodies stay stocked and ready for you.

We’ll still be here answering messages, helping with orders, and making sure you’re taken care of every step of the way.

Candle making is just organized chaos and making sure you time things right here’s to this evening with over 60 candles poured and created and my billionth time clearing this table. Oh well time to do it all over again.

Meet Luna & Scout 🐾

These two adorable faces are the inspiration behind the name Luna Scout Creations.

Coming up with a business name was way harder than we ever imagined. It had to be something meaningful, something we’d still love years down the road, and something that truly felt like us.

We threw around so many ideas. There was RC Creations… until all Rebecca could think about was RC Cola. 😂 Then came CR Creations, but it just didn’t feel right.

Next, we tried combining our kids’ names. No matter how we rearranged the letters, every option sounded… well… a little strange. We even added our husbands’ initials into the mix, but let’s just say “Blark” wasn’t exactly the dream brand name. 🤣

So we asked ourselves, what’s the next most important thing in our lives?

Our dogs.

Luna, Chantell’s beautiful German Shepherd, and Scout, Rebecca’s scruffy little mixed breed sidekick, have been with us through every late night pouring candles, every market, every milestone, and every crazy business idea.

It only felt right that the two pups who mean so much to us became the heart of our business name.
