what a delight to watch Edwina's clip, I'm away getting a heart check up ( I've had a value issue since I was a young one just staying on top ) but hey I leave town for a day and Edwina does another first😇 I love it.

I've been busy in the shop and finally built a stand for my portable dust collector.
lol though it doesn't compare with Edwina's paddle on the lake

Kn:fe making brings me in contact with many different people.

Here is a short story about a client who I got to know thru the craft.

I heat treat for Dan and he happened to be dropping off blanks for harding, when the Ridge Vault topper arrived from Manitoba in a box.
By the way I like the canopy.

Dan offered his help and shop for the assembly and installation, with the shop renovations what a life saver.

Here's a picture of the finished product.

Edwina years ago we went fly fishing in Jasper, from that day She was hooked.
I remember going to with her to buy a Sage pink fly rod 🤠 all the gear.

It was never about catching the fish it was the "art"
Have a view and enjoy watching a artist relearning to cast

something to consider
I remember hunting in the Blair fire area after it had burned so hot the spruce root mats were visible. You'd would have thought no wildlife would have escape the onslaught. The but is where the Aspen groves were so were the moose and deer and the bears.

This fire well stop at the aspen

A stand of dense spruce is about to hit a wall of aspen. Hmm, what will happen next.

Yes it's a disaster 🥹🤔

The nice part of taking time away from kn:fe making is catching up on those jobs that really need to get done. I've been making some tough choices to better organize the shop.
I've an another oven coming into the shop and so I've been forced to get better organized.
Way more Organized

Though I would love to keep my third vertical grinder I really don't need it, Maybe it will go on the road with me ..., When 😂 so it leaving for the shed, lol along with a lot of my wood working tools

Well here's the before pictures we shall see how long it take me to put the shop back to work. 😥😂
