Buy our candles at The Squeeze & at Yard Gear in Fredericton NB Starting off in Kelowna BC, we thought it would be a fun experience to make candles at home for a date night after we put our kids to bed. Turns out we had a lot of fun, made
a few mistakes and discovered a new passion. We started experimenting during 2021, making candles for gifts for the following Christmas and for birthdays, found out what was working and what didn't work and slowly started getting the hang of the candle making process. We packed up and moved our small family across Canada in July 2023. From Kelowna BC we drove with our two young boys to Fredericton NB! Tom had visited New Brunswick in the winter of 2023 and we both fell in love with it! Once we settled in, we went to work, we sourced all our supplies from Canadian companies, and we started making candles. We are proud to say that our candles are Canadian made, paraben and phthalate free and hand poured with care. We use a mixture of 50/50 soy and coconut wax to prolong the burn time, create a cleaner burning candle and to cut down on the visible imperfections of the hand poured technique. These are hand poured candles and there will be variations in colour and texture, as well as imperfections in the wax. We have worked on our process for over multiple years, testing and retesting our candles and are proud of the result.
