That is what I told my husband over a year ago, standing in our hallway, around 10pm - on a week night. That was it. That was the beginning of this amazing journey of over a year. I enrolled in the "Interior Design Institute" and started designing. I designed spaces for friends, neighbours and family. During that time I realized that there was a common challenge for each of the spaces - budget. I
had envisioned modern unique spaces, which everyone was absolutely on board with - however the budget just did not fit. I myself am fascinated by unique modern design, whether it be a unique light fixture or painting. Of course there was an option for my clients - save. Sure. But being a designer is more than just picking out the right accents. Designers are creative artists themselves and interior design is their outlet of creativity. So I thought, why not try to create some of these pieces myself? Follow me on Facebook and you will see light fixtures, pillows and other fun decor items I have made. I will be posting projects that I have been working on over the past year and right up to last week. Starting in January 2016, I will be offering design consultations in your home or mine.
